Welcome!

I’m an Associate Professor in the Middlebury College Department of Economics. My research focuses on industrialization, the organization of enterprise, and productivity, especially in the Russian Empire. I’m also interested in statistics pedagogy and Vermont’s economic history. I teach courses on statistics and economic history.

I am on sabbatical for AY 2025-26.
